Its quite shocking to hear that a horse has stopped the most expected movie of the year "Imsai Arasan 23-m Pulikesi". (via Sify).

Much as I hate the delayed release of this film, at the same time, it is necessary for us to discourage the pitiless exploitation of animals. For instance, watch Rajini's Dhalapathi. The cruel stunts the animals are made to do (virtually landing on their heads, injuring their necks, vertibra) is shocking to say the least. It is not necessary for man to make money at the cost of mute beasts. Such deliberate delays will teach our directors a lesson that not everyone is blind to their insensitive money making.

Agreed that poor animals shouldn't be ill-treated for the sake of movies.
But this case a bit different.. The court has ordered AWBI to give an NOC. But AWBI is delaying by not issuing it.
