Terror city

Even before the people came out of the shock of the murder of a call center employee, there is this firing incident in IISC.

My God...What's happening to Bangalore??? We give Z-class security to unscrupulous MPs accepting cash for asking questions in Parliament, but cannot protect a professor from IIT. Shame on us.

vatsan, they were not just academecians?! they were a elite group, pride of a country. Imagine the the damage to the image of the country - It cannot protect its scientists. Moreover, even if the injured 4 decides to go to the west for a safer life, that is victory to LET and a loss to India

Moreover, it could be based on intelligence reports from other countries that IISc is not only technology research centre, it has got lot more to do with defence and missile research as well.

Well, its time to wake up...

This act of terror reveals not only that india has terrorised other nations in technological frontier, but also to many indians that india is valued so precious in the world in terms of technology. so this incident would only increase our strength further.

yadhvi & vatsan,
this seems more like an attempt to grab the attention of the entire nation and cause fear of insecurity among people.

Very depressing, this event. Terror seems to have finally arrived in Bangalore.
On a happy note(!), I wouldn't mind our MP's, in spite of their Z class security & what not, being the target!

Ravi,

On a lighter note, I think the terrorists have realised that our MPs are not worth the risk
