I wonder why - 3

Overheard.....

Person 1: Why are you so dull?
Person 2: I am not feeling well
Person 1: I think you should quit smoking
Person 2: Yeah. How long am I going to smoke? I will give up once I get married.

I wonder why people confuse between a relationship and a habit. What has smoking got to do with getting married?

If he smokes because he likes it, why should he give up for a woman. Or in case he wants to quit smoking at some point of time, then why continue till marriage. Does that girl have no other work other than changing his habits?

Chinna puLLa thanamaa illa irukku???? Statutory warning padichi thirundha maattaanga, aana kalyanam aachunna thirundhidu vaangaLa???? Enna kodumai da idhu.

Hey there,

Being a smoker myself, let me explain the linkage between smoking and a relationship. Most people start smoking simply because of peer pressure. But then, after a point of time, it becomes an addiction. By this point of time, most smokers want to quit the habit for good, but don't have a strong enough reason for doing so. Bang, the reason presents itself in the form of a relationship, for eg, a marriage, or a girlfriend. Now this is a strong enough reason to do something heroic, and for a smoker, nothing represents more sacrifice than giving up something that gives his senses so much pleasure. Therein stands the linkage between smoking and relationships.

Cheers...........Jam

Till marriage, smoking affects only you. After marriage, it affects the life partner and kids as well. That could be one reason?

Its very true pals.
I am a smoker before my marriage.
After the marriage, if you still continue smoking you wont get some of your "privelliges" at night and its true in many cases I have seen.
